Tirana International Airport welcomes new Wizz Air service between Tirana and Dortmund

Tirana International Airport: New flight Tirana–Dortmund begins, operated by Wizz Air

TIRANA, Albania, 2018-Nov-05 — /Travel PR News/ — Wizz Air, the largest low-cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe, started today (30 October 2018) a new service connecting Tirana with the German city of Dortmund.

The low-fare route will operate two weekly flights, on Tuesdays and Saturdays, with seats on the new routes now for sale.

“Wizz Air has expanded its services at Tirana International Airport in the last two years with three new destinations: Budapest, London and, now, Dortmund. This is great news for all. Meanwhile, other destinations will be coming soon. Germany is now much closer, and we wish our best for the new route,” said TIA’s Chief Executive Officer, Dr Rolf Castro-Vasquez.

Tickets can be bought from wizzair.com, with low fares starting at only EUR 19.99 one way, including all taxes, according to information published by the company.

Dortmund is famous for its football team, Borussia Dortmund and since its connection to soccer, it was chosen as the home for the German Football Museum. The city is filled with churches and art museums satisfying art enthusiasts. Once a rural area, now it is a place for high-tech industries and breweries.
