2013-08-21 — /travelprnews.com/ — Bahrain Airport Company (BAC) hosted a group of Management students at Bahrain Polytechnic for three months to support and train the young Bahrainis in meeting the requirements of their graduation projects.
During their internship, the students benefited from the knowledge and expertise of the professional team at the Strategy Implementation and Business Improvement department in the company.
BAC is committed to giving back to the local community and supporting the development of the local workforce. In this respect, the company provides internship programmes tailored to the needs of the students in completion of their studies, which also equip them with new skills and enrich their knowledge as well as experience of the work environment.
Note to mention, BAC is the authority responsible for operating and managing Bahrain International Airport as a world-class airport. As part of its’ operator role, BAC is responsible for elevating the airport’s infrastructure and services. This set to improve the Kingdom‘s aviation capabilities; and to cater for the growing number of passengers as well as the changing demands of the airport’s stakeholders.
