ThinCats on the go with £4.25m funding for London-based tour operator

London, England, 2021-Apr-30 — /Travel PR News/ — Avatara Inc Ltd, owners of care home Casterbridge Manor, have been supported with a £1.5m refinance and acquisition funding package by leading alternative finance provider for mid-sized SMEs, ThinCats.

Casterbridge Manor, set in the picturesque village of Cerne Abbas near Dorchester, is a 62 bed purpose built care home acquired by the company in 2016.  The home offers the highest standards in residential, nursing and specialist dementia care in a warm, safe and friendly environment, with comfortable surroundings and opportunities for interaction, ‘encouraging residents to live life to their fullest potential’.  The business is run by experienced husband and wife team Chetan Borkhatria and Suri Kalyan.

Avatara had the opportunity to acquire a local care home that had previously closed down, to be re-opened as Casterbridge Lodge.  The home will provide 34 rooms with a similar ethos to Casterbridge Manor, and is set in large grounds in an area of outstanding beauty in Winterbourne Steepleton, Dorset.

The business was introduced to ThinCats by Sean Hurden, Senior Broker at Chandler & Co, specialist care home mortgage brokers based in Kent.
