New RFP Global Format Ensures Greater Accuracy and Time Savings
Alexandria, VA, 2013-11-6 — /travelprnews.com/ — The GBTA Foundation, the research and education arm of the Global Business Travel Association (GBTA), today unveiled the new GBTA Airline Crew-Hotel Request for Proposal (RFP). The new Airline Crew-Hotel RFP is prepared in a global, standard format and is available as a fillable PDF. The RFP will help improve the integrity and accuracy of data sent by hoteliers compared to the way most companies currently handle this process. It will also help ensure easier access to historical data and improved response times, delivering time savings on both the buyer and supplier side.
GBTA Foundation, along with members of the GBTA Hotel Committee and volunteers from airline buyers, suppliers and airline third parties from around the world conducted an extensive review of the RFPs from the top 40 airline accounts to develop baseline questions for the RFP. The groups created the new Airline Crew-Hotel RFP in an effort to provide airlines with an invaluable resource for contracting hotel room needs.
GBTA Foundation’s Executive Director Daphne Bryant said, “We are thrilled to launch this new Airline Crew-Hotel RFP, which achieves every goal we set for this mission. It is a global RFP that is easier to use, more effective than current processes and ensures integrity and accuracy in the process. After an extensive process and culmination of a lot of hard work with stakeholders in every sector of business travel, we’ve created this truly impressive resource for GBTA members.”
The new GBTA Airline Crew-Hotel RFP is available free to members worldwide in the GBTA Resource Library, http://www.gbta.org/resourcelibrary/Pages/Default.aspx.
