Hotel’s Popular Special-Occasion Brunch Offers Crowd-Pleasing Elegance for Easter
CHICAGO, 2013-02-04 — /travelprnews.com/ — The Drake Hotel is now accepting reservations for its annual Easter Brunch, held in the Gold Coast Ballroom. The traditional brunch, presented in the “grand hotel” style of decades past, will be offered from 9:45 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. on Easter Sunday, March 31, 2013. With a lavish spread of delectable offerings and The Drake Hotel’s unmatched service and elegance, this holiday brunch provides a can’t-miss family gathering that all generations will enjoy.
Reservations can now be made by calling +1 312 787 2200 or online at OpenTable.com. Costs are $105 per person, $50 for children ages 6-12, and free for children under 6 (all prices are exclusive of taxes and gratuity). In addition, valet parking will be offered for $13 to brunch guests for up to three hours.

The Easter Brunch will be offered in The Drake Hotel’s elegant Gold Coast Ballroom. The Easter menu, created by Executive Chef Baasim Zafar, will have something for every taste including a made-to-order omelet station, numerous carving stations, and a decadent dessert display. During brunch, guests will enjoy live music provided by the Eric Schneider Jazz Trio. The adjacent Drake Room will be transformed into a children’s game room which will include entertainment such as face painting, a caricature artist, and of course the Easter Bunny. The Easter Bunny will conduct an Easter Egg Hunt and happily pose for photos with guests throughout the day. In addition to these activities, children are welcomed to color a picture of The Drake, and should they choose, submit it into a drawing. At the end of the day, three colorings will be drawn and featured in our April e-newsletter, and one lucky grand prize winner will be drawn to receive four complimentary tickets to the hotel’s Mother’s Day Brunch.
