BANGKOK, THAILAND, 2019-May-24 — /Travel PR News/ — The Beijing Municipal Cultural and Tourism Bureau actively participated at the PATA Annual Summit 2019 in Cebu, Philippines from May 9-12. The event included a one-day conference, the UNWTO/PATA Leaders Debate, Executive Board and Board Meetings, Committee Meetings and the 68th Annual General Meeting. The organisation also hosted a dinner for all delegates at the Radisson Blu Cebu on Thursday, May 9.
The Asia-Pacific region has become one of the most dynamic economies in the world with frequent dialogue and exchanges between governments and organisations. It is also the most important area of cooperation for China’s “Belt and Road” initiative. The interconnection of culture and tourism is an important part of enhancing understanding, strengthening mutual trust, promoting development and achieving mutually beneficial results for all parties.
The Beijing Municipal Cultural and Tourism Bureau actively participated in various activities during the PATA Annual Summit, sharing experiences with representatives of all parties, summarizing trends and looking to the future.
During the event, the Beijing Municipal Culture and Tourism Bureau promoted Beijing’s 144-hour transit visa-free policy, departure tax rebate and conference awards. Showing the classical, fashionable and modern “glamour” of the new Beijing.
