Bangkok, Thailand, 2014-1-29 — /travelprnews.com/ — Thai Airways International is offering special promotional discounts on tickets through “E-Angpao” during Chinese New Year.
Mr. Chokchai Panyayong, THAI Senior Executive Vice President of Commercial and Acting President, said THAI and THAI Smile are offering promotional fares to celebrate Chinese New Year. Passengers will receive an “E-Angpao” password for their discount when tickets are purchased through www.thaiairways.com and www.thaismileair.com.
The special discounted fares are available on four domestic routes: the Bangkok-Khon Kaen with price begins at 1,200 Baht, the Bangkok – Krabi with price begins at 1350 Baht, the Bangkok – Chiang Mai with price begins at 1500 Baht and the Bangkok – Phuket with price begins at 1850 Baht.
A special discount of 1,000 Baht is offered on the purchase of a roundtrip ticket on the Bangkok-Sendai (Japan) route. In addition, a discount of 500 Baht is offered for travel from Phuket to Chiang Mai, a discount of 300 Baht for travel from Bangkok to Chiang Rai/ Krabi/ Hat Yai and a discount of 200 Baht for travel on routes such as Bangkok to Chiang Mai/ Udon Thani/ Ubon Ratchathani/ Phuket and other destinations, as well as Chiang Mai to Phuket.
The special promotional air fares during Chinese New Year are for tickets purchased online through THAI and THAI Smile official websites only. Prices include airport tax and all surcharges (taxes and surcharges may vary based on foreign currency exchange rate on date of ticket issuance; ticket restrictions may apply).
Passengers may make reservations during 27 January – 8 February 2014 and begin traveling during 27 January – 28 February 2014.
Conditions may apply for promotional fare tickets, such as travel one-way in economy class on flights operated by THAI and THAI Smile; no passenger name change, no re-routing, and no upgrade allowed after ticket issuance; and no refund.
A limited number of special fare tickets are available per flight for promotional fares.
