UPGRADES FOR BUSINESS MORE FLEXIBLE
Lisbon, Portugal, 2016-Jul-21 — /Travel PR News/ — TAP launches this month the service “TAP Upgrades”, which simplifies the process of upgrading tickets from economy to business class, reaching all Clients. With a new format and appealing prices, upgrades can now be made in three different ways, anytime you contact the airline.
If your decision to travel in business class is a last minute one, you can now make your upgrade at the new TAP Upgrades shop, in the departures area of Lisbon’s Humberto Delgado Airport, next to TAP Customer Service desk. At other airports, upgrades can be required at the airline ticket desk.
All flights with available seats in business class are now shown in a new, specific screen, as the check in is still open. In order to broaden as much as possible the chance to travel with more comfort for all passengers, the upgrade prices are fixed and very attractive, ranging only according to the flight duration. The payment will be made locally by card or using air miles as well.
The service “For Bid” allows to bid a value to travel in tap|executive, up to 36 hours before flight departure. This bidding is made online, for TAP tickets and flights, and once accepted, the upgrade to business class is made automatically. In this case, the payment is done through the company’s website.
The chance to board on a journey with personalized service and maximum comfort does not end here. The upgrade service can also be requested at the gate.
All information about this campaign is available at upgrades.flytap.com.
