Flights to Lomé, in Togo, already available for booking
Lisbon, Portugal, 2017-Apr-02 — /Travel PR News/ — As from now, it is possible to book flights to Lomé, in Togo, with TAP. The operation to this new destination will start on July 17th, with four weekly flights.
Portugal will then be even closer to Africa, since it will fly to 16 destinations in this continent, in 11 countries, with Lomé being added to the already announced new destinations – Toronto, Stuttgart, Gran Canaria, Alicante, Bucharest, Budapest, Cologne and Abidjan.
The flights between Lisbon and Lomé will operate with the A320 aircraft, with seat capacity for 165 passengers, on Mondays and Fridays, departing Lisbon at 4:40pm and returning from Lomé at 11:55pm, completing the circuit Lisbon – Accra – Lomé – Lisbon, and on Wednesdays and Sundays, departing Lisbon at 4:40pm and returning from Lomé at 10:10pm, completing the circuit Lisbon – Lomé – Accra – Lisbon.
The Lomé–Tokoin International Airport has a traffic capacity of 2 million passengers per year. A business destination and home to many that live in European countries, Togo is a strategic destination for TAP and its hub in Lisbon, a key European gateway to Africa and America.
The inclusion of Lomé in TAP’s network, reinforces the Airline’s strategic position in Africa. In the summer of 2017, TAP’s capacity of passengers to this continent will increase by near 20%, and the number of flights by 22%, comparing to the same period of 2016.
