Swissport Cyprus Extends Contract with British Airways for Airport Ground Services at Larnaca International Airport

Larnaca, Cyprus, 2023-Jul-19 — /Travel PR News/ — Swissport Cyprus secured a contract extension with its long-standing partner, British Airways, for airport ground services at Larnaca International Airport (LCA). The contract, which dates to 2008, covers complete airport ground services. Swissport also offers lounge hospitality for airline’s passengers at Larnaca’s airport.

Swissport, the largest airport ground services and air cargo handling company in Cyprus, has been serving British Airways at Larnaca International Airport (LCA) and Paphos International Airport (PFO) since 2008, the year Swissport was established in Cyprus.

Since the beginning of the partnership in 2008, Swissport teams have handled many British Airways aircraft types, including an iconic Boeing 767, now decommissioned. The aircraft, marveled by many aviation enthusiasts, touched down for the last time in Larnaca in November 2018 before making the final journey to Heathrow.

In Cyprus, Swissport operates at two international airports: Larnaca International Airport (LCA) and Paphos International Airport (PFO).
