Swissôtel properties around the world will celebrate the brand’s very own Vitality Day on March 21, 2017, kicking off an inspiring week of activities and services designed for “Body and Soul Spring Cleaning.” The Vitality Programme, available across Swissôtel’s global portfolio and in effect year-round, reflects the brand’s ethos: to be inspired, energetic, happy and passionate. The 2017 call to action of ‘peace of mind’ means that each Swissôtel property shall aspire to be a contemporary haven, furthering the mental and physical vitality of its guests.

The brand’s Vitality Programme was established in 2012 and incorporates a number of popular initiatives that run throughout the year and help guests maintain their mental and physical wellbeing while traveling. Most recently, Swissôtel launched the Vitality Room in collaboration with Wallpaper* magazine at Swissôtel Zurich. This “live it well” concept room is a serene and stylish sanctuary with bespoke wellness features such as a calm, tactile design optimised for views and functionality; circadian light features to improve melatonin production and alleviate jet-lag; a high-performance air purification system; a “well-being wall” with three fitness training modules; a refreshment centre offering energising Vitality snacks and drinks; and seating and tables with adjustable heights for customised ergonomic benefits. Swissôtel plans to introduce additional Vitality Rooms in new locations throughout 2017.
