Cinnamon Bar Launches Exotic Trio of Tantalising Tipples

LONDON 2012-09-19 — /travelprnews.com/ — Hilton London Canary Wharf is set to spice up the City bar scene at Cinnamon. Drawing on its maritime location as a former hub for world trade, the bar’s expert mixologists have drawn on elements of the exotic to design three sweet and spicy tipples to tantalise the taste buds, transporting guests to India, the Caribbean and beyond.

From South East Asia, to Sri Lanka, where Cinnamon is a native crop, comes the signature Cinnamon Mojito. This cocktail combines an aromatic blend of Kraken spiced rum, with the fragrant headiness of cinnamon liquor and a healthy handful of freshly mulled mint. Just as refreshing as a regular Mojito, it packs a little extra punch for those after a tipple with a twist.

Another take on a favourite classic, the Rosso Di Sera uses Martini Rossato – a rosé-style Martini, which is the only variant to use a combination of white and red wines. With subtle aromas of cloves and cinnamon, it has a gentle sweet and spicy finish. Rosso Di Sera blends Martini Rossato with tangy raspberry and cooling mint, served with cookies and cream wafers for that extra special touch.

For chilli fiends there’s the new chocolate and strawberry sensation. Designed for sharing, it uses a blend of fresh strawberries, combined with indulgent chocolate liqueur, vodka and double cream. Shaken together with half a chilli, it’s the ultimate sweet treat to spice up your evening.
