2013-04-16 — /travelprnews.com/ — Today strategic partners airberlin and Etihad Airways will launch the first in a series of nationwide sales roadshows in Berlin. The events are targeted at German travel trade partners.
Beyond the German capital, the events will take place in Hamburg (17 April), Dusseldorf (18 April), Frankfurt (23 April), Stuttgart (24 April) and Munich (25 April).
Approximately 150 German travel trade partners are expected at each of the six events and representatives of both airberlin and Etihad Airways will be on hand to promote the partnership and answer questions.
The two airlines will present the combined services offered from Germany – the largest outbound travel market in Europe – outline the benefits of the partnership in products and services, showcase the strengthened network connectivity, and discuss the integration of each carrier’s frequent flyer and corporate programs.
Guests will have the opportunity to test and experience both airlines’ products and services in business and economy classes.
One of the highlights will be a demonstration of the new airberlin full-flat business class product and service, which has been aligned with that of Etihad Airways. Etihad Airways will also have its Pearl Business Class full-flat seats at the events.
Reflecting the important contribution food makes to the experience of flying, culinary delights inspired by Etihad Airways’ and airberlin destinations around the world will be prepared for the enjoyment of visitors.
Abu Dhabi as a destination will feature heavily in the roadshow program, with representatives of the Abu Dhabi Tourism and Culture Authority being present.
The airberlin-Etihad Airways’ partnership offers customers a wide variety of new services, with fast, convenient connections over the airlines’ combined route network, which comprises 239 destinations in 77 countries. From Germany, Etihad Airways’ Abu Dhabi hub is an attractive gateway to destinations across the Arabian Peninsula, Asia, Africa and Australia.
