ST. JOHN’S, NL, 2020-Jan-14 — /Travel PR News/ — The St. John’s International Airport Authority announced today ( January 09, 2020) that it was named one of Atlantic Canada’s Top Employers for 2020.
“We’re tremendously proud to be recognized as a top employer in the region,” says Peter Avery, CEO of St. John’s International Airport Authority. “Protecting passengers and ensuring the health, safety and welfare of all our employees, airport partners and the communities we serve is always the Authority’s top priority. We strive to create an environment where all of our employees enjoy coming to work every day.”
The designation is unique as it recognizes the employers in Canada’s four Atlantic Provinces that lead their industries in offering exceptional places to work. Canada’s Top 100 Employers evaluates the various candidates based on an assessment focused on eight key aspects: physical workplace; work and social atmosphere; health, financial and family benefits; vacation and time off; employee communications; performance management; training and skills development; and community involvement.
