2013-04-18 — /travelprnews.com/ — SSP has opened a new brasserie called Himmel & Hav at Stockholm Arlanda Airport terminal 2. The new brasserie, is a modern-style eaterie with a menu inspired by international cuisines.
Himmel & Hav (which means Sky & Sea), will serve brasserie classics such as steak tartare. This is complemented by an excellent list of wines, many of which are available by the glass.
The spacious facility extends to 540 square meters, and is decorated in warm and welcoming tones with extensive use of natural woods and leather. Featuring a range of seating, Himmel & Hav is ideal for travellers who want to pop in for a quick bite to eat while they recharge their phone, as well as those who want to enjoy a drink at the bar, relax in the calm of the lounge, or sit down to a meal in the dining area.
Commenting on the new opening, Lars Edengréen, managing director of SSP Sweden said; ‘We at SSP aim to make a visit to one of our outlets the best part of the journey. With its outstanding food, and excellent wine list, I’m certain that Himmel & Hav will get any trip off to a really great start.’
Roel Huinink, managing director of Arlanda Schiphol Development Company, responsible for retail, food & beverage and commercial services at Stockholm Arlanda Airport and Gothenburg Landvetter Airport was equally enthusiastic about the new facility: ‘Travellers are expecting to find a good place to enjoy a good meal or work when they travel. With the introduction of the Brasserie Himmel & Hav in the new Terminal 2, serving delicious food and with its contemporary design, we inspire our travellers to enjoy their time at our airport.’
