Today Olympic skier Jonny Moseley and Squaw Valley athlete Michelle Parker took the first official Uber ride in Lake Tahoe from Squaw Valley to Alpine Meadows.

This week, Squaw Valley Alpine Meadows hosted the first in-person Lake Tahoe Uber onboarding event at The Village at Squaw Valley to connect individuals interested in becoming a driver with the ridesharing company.

Uber is an app that connects people looking for a ride with drivers on demand. Uber is regulated by both the state of California and the State of Nevada as a Transportation Network Company (TNC).
