Miramar, Florida, 2013-05-02 — /travelprnews.com/ — Spirit Airlines (NASDAQ: SAVE) has announced that it is opening a crew base at Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport on June 1, 2013.
The new base will be home to over 140 crewmembers, including pilots and flight attendants, as well as mechanics, by the end of this summer.
Recruitment will take place this week as Spirit hosts open houses in Chicago for new flight attendant jobs on Friday, May 3 and Saturday, May 4, 2013.
“As Spirit continues to expand our operations and bring on new aircraft, we are excited to open a new crew base at O’Hare and add quality local jobs in the Chicago area,” said Spirit’s Chief Executive Office Ben Baldanza.
Those interested in joining Spirit’s Inflight team are invited to attend one of the airline’s flight attendant open houses taking place in Chicago this week.
