South African Airways to Launch Direct Cape Town–Mauritius Flights Beginning December 2025

This new connection provides greater accessibility for travelers in the Western Cape, linking two premier leisure destinations in Southern Africa and the Indian Ocean.

The Cape Town–Mauritius route will operate three times weekly—on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays—offering passengers flexible travel options. Outbound flights will depart Cape Town International Airport at 09:25 AM and arrive in Mauritius at 4:30 PM, with a flight time of approximately five hours. The return flight leaves Mauritius at 5:20 PM and lands in Cape Town at 9:30 PM. From mid-January to mid-March 2026, the frequency will be temporarily reduced to twice weekly to align with seasonal demand.
