2013-01-21 — /travelprnews.com/ —  Air France expects to operate all its long-haul flights and more than half of its short and medium-haul flights

• The situation is expected to be back to normal on 22 January

UPDATE ON MONDAY 21 JANUARY AT 13:00

The Air France flight schedule to and from Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Paris-Orly has been adapted and was in line with forecasts this morning.

On 21 January, Air France expects to operate:

  • all its long-haul flights,
  • more than half of its short and medium-haul flights to and from Paris Charles-de-Gaulle and Paris-Orly airports.

The improved weather conditions since earlier this morning has made it possible to reduce last-minute delays and the risk of cancellations.

SITUATION EXPECTED TO BE BACK TO NORMAL ON TUESDAY 22 JANUARY

The forecast weather conditions allow the Company to schedule a return to normal operating conditions tomorrow.

Air France is satisfied with the excellent cooperation with the French Civil Aviation Authority and Paris Airports, who have been doing all they can to help customers during this difficult period.

Air France recommends its customers, before going to the airport, to consult the flight schedule information, available in real time:

  • at www.airfrance.fr, in the « Flight schedules » section
  • at mobile.airfrance.com or the Air France iPhone, Android Windows Phone and BlackBerry applications
  • by texting your flight number to 63654 (e.g.: AF6250).

In the case of flight cancellations or delays, Air France has the AF Connect service which informs customers directly on their cell phones, smartphones or by e-mail as long as they have provided their contact information when booking. In order to be notified personally by AF Connect, Air France invites its customers to update their contact information (mobile phone and/or e-mail) in their reservation file on the Air France website. Air France will then be able to inform them personally by SMS or e-mail in case of disruption to their flight.
