Smokin’ Hot Celebration at Dickey’s in Humble

Humble, TX, 2012-10-29 — /travelprnews.com/ — Humble can satisfy their barbecue craving at Dickey’s Barbecue Pit. On Friday, November 2, Dickey’s Barbecue will be serving $1 Pulled Pork Big Barbecue sandwiches at its grand opening on Friday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

“The greatest thing about becoming a franchise owner for Dickey’s is seeing people in our community get excited about our barbecue and knowing we’re a part of something people truly enjoy,” said local owner, Krissy Whittenberg. “We’re different than many other restaurants because our customers leave Dickey’s satisfied, but always come back for more.”

Prior to owning a Dickey’s, Whittenberg worked as a Senior Buyer for Ignite Restaurant Group, the parent company for concepts such as Joe’s Crab Shack. Whittenberg would like to expand in the near future and open additional Dickey’s locations around the 59 Corridor.

“Families come to our restaurant to enjoy great food, time together and spend quality family time together, even when they are in a rush,” said Whittenberg.

Dickey’s Barbecue offers a quality selection of signature meats, home style sides and tangy barbecue sauce. All meats are slow smoked on-site in each restaurant. Don’t forget, Dickey’s is offering “Kids Eat Free in Costume on Halloween” at all of its 260 locations nationwide.
