Calgary, AB, 2017-Jan-30 — /Travel PR News/ — Dinner and a Movie returns to Heritage Park for six unique dining and entertainment experiences. Make it a date night, or bring the whole gang down for these fun, themed evenings in February, March and April.
This February, we’re digging deep into the vaults and pulling out some classics, guaranteed to inspire romance. The series kicks off on a spicy note on February 7th with a Moroccan themed dinner followed by Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman steaming things up in the 1942 hit, Casablanca. On February 21, Audrey Hepburn exudes class and sass in the lovable 1961 classic, Breakfast at Tiffany’s. March gets musical with two hits that will have you singing along! On March 7 were taking a trip to the 1920s with Oscar winner, Chicago! And on March 21 we pay tribute to the late, great Debbie Reynolds with the catchiest song–and title–in showbiz, Singin’ in the Rain. Like Chocolate? You’ll love our April 4 film, which is guaranteed to have lots of the sweet stuff on the menu; Gene Wilder in the 1971 classic, Willie Wonka & the Chocolate Factory. And in honour of National Canadian Film Day on April 19 we’re playing the fan favourite, as chosen by the public online at https://www.heritagepark.ca/plan-your-visit/event-calendar/dinner-a-movie.html The winner will be announced on April 1.
Each evening begins with a themed, three-course dinner in the Selkirk Grille Restaurant, followed by a film on the big screen in Gasoline Alley Museum. Reserve your table today!
