Six Senses Laamu Maldives offers Exclusive Yoga Retreats at its Spa with highly respected practitioner Chandra Winzenried

2013-07-31 — /travelprnews.com/ — Complementing Aqua Season at Six Senses Laamu, the resort’s Six Senses Spa will be hosting two Yoga retreats with highly respected practitioner, Chandra Winzenried, helping guests reconnect with themselves and the world around them.

Re-energise, strengthen the body and get more zzzz’s

The first retreat, from 8th to 13th August 2013, combines various Yoga styles with evening meditation and is designed to suit complete novices as well as seasoned enthusiasts.

Morning Vinyasa Flow classes will awaken the body and get the blood pumping. The late afternoon Restorative Yoga sessions focus on reaching one’s depth in each posture, thus improving flexibility and evoking a state of deep relaxation. Guided meditation and gentle Yoga are offered after delicious dinners that are created to aid digestion and encourage better sleep. In addition, guests can enjoy a daily spa treatment and many resort activities to spice up their Yoga workout.

The retreat’s package includes 5 nights’ accommodation in an Ocean Water Villa, daily buffet breakfast, four 60-minute Vinyasa Flow Yoga classes, four 60-minute Restorative Yoga classes, four 30-minute guided meditation sessions and four spa treatments. Round-trip airport transfers are also included. The price of US$3,166 per person is based on two people sharing the villa.

Restore, relax and reconnect

The second retreat, from 16th to 20th August 2013, is suggested for anyone wishing to wind down and find inner peace. Afternoon classes of Restorative Yoga will free the mind and help achieve complete calmness. A selection of daily spa treatments and evening meditation sessions complement the soothing nature of this retreat.

The retreat’s package includes 4 nights’ accommodation in an Ocean Water Villa, daily buffet breakfast, three 60-minute Restorative Yoga classes, three 30-minute guided meditation sessions and three spa treatments.
