Sheremetyevo International Airport passengers and guests can now call for free within Russia

Moscow, Russia, 2013-11-25 — /travelprnews.com/ — Sheremetyevo International Airport has offered to its passengers and guests the service of free telephone calls. “Public telephones” are located in Terminals E (2 booths), F (5 booths), and C (2 booths). All those who arrive at the Airport have the opportunity to call their relatives and friends or promptly get connected with information and emergency services.

Calls from these telephone sets to mobile and fixed-line numbers in any Russian regions are free of charge. To call a subscriber it is only necessary to dial his/her number (8-[area code]-[telephone number]). For passengers’ convenience, short numbers of the Airport’s information and emergency services are recorded in the telephones’ memory. These include Call Center, First Aid Station, Linear Police Department, Feedback, Migration Service, Veterinary Control, Consul, and Sheremetyevo International Airport’s unified dispatching service rendering accompanying assistance to passengers with reduced mobility.

A booth is designed to accommodate free-of-charge calling needs of passengers with reduced mobility, among others. Size and height of a telephone receiver enable its use by wheelchair persons, a booth is equipped with Braille alphabet, and an audio volume control button is available.

Technical outfit of the booths makes it possible to use advanced free-of-charge communication services, including local and mobile communication.

In anticipation of the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Russia, offering of this service is particularly relevant, as it provides to guests and participants of the international competition possibility of free-of-charge and unlimited communication with the capital of the Olympic Winter Games, Sochi.
