‘Celebrate Life’s Moments’ themed art exhibitions at Sheraton unveil the Beauty of Chinese Heritage Crafts

These exhibits highlight regional Chinese heritage crafts, allowing guests to explore the cultural significance and stories of these pieces while fostering local community connections. The exhibition runs until March 31, 2025.
(PRESS RELEASE) Beijing, China, 2024-Nov-9 — /Travel PR News/ — Sheraton Hotels and Resorts, part of Marriott Bonvoy’s extensive brand portfolio, has introduced its ‘Gatherings by Sheraton’ program in Greater China with a new art exhibition series titled ‘Celebrate Life’s Moments.’ This unique collaboration, in partnership with The ‘Genius Mom’ project from the China Women’s Development Foundation, will showcase nearly 400 traditional Chinese crafts in the lobbies of almost 100 Sheraton hotels across the country. The exhibits celebrate Chinese cultural heritage, inviting guests to explore and appreciate China’s diverse artisanal crafts.
Originally launched in the U.S. in 2023, the Gatherings by Sheraton program was designed to immerse guests in local culture and foster connections. Now, with the Greater China debut of the program, Sheraton aims to deepen its role as “The World’s Gathering Place.” “Sheraton Hotels aims to create vibrant spaces where guests from around the world can connect and celebrate cultural moments,” said Betty Tian, Vice President of Marketing for Marriott’s Premium & Select Brands in Greater China. “Partnering with ‘Genius Mom’ allows us to highlight traditional Chinese crafts, fostering meaningful connections.”
The showcased artworks represent different regions of China and incorporate symbolic elements of blessings.
