Airport honored by States of California and Nevada Chapter of National Association of Telecommunications Officers and Advisors
SAN FRANCISCO, CA, 2021-Jul-02 — /Travel PR News/ — The San Francisco International Airport (SFO) announced it has received multiple awards for video communications campaigns. In their 2021 STAR Awards, the States of California and Nevada Chapter of the National Association of Telecommunications Officers and Advisors (SCAN NATOA) honored SFO with six awards in five different categories, including COVID-related videos highlighting COVID disinfection measures and encouraging compliance with face mask requirements.
“I am so proud of our SFO team for this achievement,” said Airport Director Ivar C. Satero. “During this pandemic, effective communication with our customers and employees has never been more important. Our video production team developed entertaining ways to educate and inform, while showcasing the many talents of our larger airport employee family. They are truly deserving of this honor.”
