SFO Announces Halloween-Inspired Photo Contest on Twitter & Pinterest

SFO Hosts Contests on Twitter and Pinterest for chance to win Sol Republic Headphones or iPod Shuffles

SAN FRANCISCO — 2012-10-24 — /travelprnews.com/ — In the “spirit” of Halloween, San Francisco International Airport (SFO) is hosting a unique social media contest where participants can share Halloween-themed photos on Twitter and Pinterest for a chance to win prizes like Sol Republic Headphones or iPod Shuffles.

A “Trick or Tweet” contest invites travelers to use Twitter contest hashtag #SFOHalloween to tweet pictures of themselves or friends in front of a Halloween Photo Station that will be stationed at various terminals during the contest period.  Alternatively, entries can be made by tweeting nonstop Halloween travel destinations flown from SFO: twitter.com/flySFO

Pinterest users can also play the “SFO Halloween: Pin to Win” contest, by pinning photos of your favorite nonstop Halloween travel destinations flown from SFO: pinterest.com/flysfo

Since every qualifying photo tweeted and each qualifying Pinterest board created counts as a contest entry, the number of ways to enter is almost frightening!  On October 31st, a random drawing will be held on the official Ustream Channel to award the prizes: http://www.ustream.tv/channel/sfoairport
