Seasoned Hospitality Veteran Returns to Minor Hotels to Manage Four of its Properties in the Southeast Asia Countries

Richter’s new role became effective on July 1st, 2024.
Richter will oversee the daily operations of Anantara Desaru Coast Resort & Villas while also managing the Avani Sepang Goldcoast Resort, Anantara Uluwatu Bali Resort, and the soon-to-open Anantara Ubud Bali Resort. His extensive expertise in both resort and city hotel management across diverse international destinations positions him as an ideal leader for these prestigious properties.
Richter’s three-decade career in the hospitality sector includes leadership roles in key global markets, such as Thailand, Indonesia, the Maldives, Germany, the United States, and the United Kingdom. Prior to joining Minor Hotels, Richter was the multi-property General Manager at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel and Hotel Am Steinplatz Autograph Collection in Berlin, Germany, where he was instrumental in maintaining the highest standards of luxury and service.

Originally from Germany, Richter holds certifications in Food & Beverage Management, Revenue Management, and Sales & Marketing from Cornell University, further solidifying his strong foundation in the hospitality industry.
