Palm Springs, California, 2015-10-26 — /Travel PR News/ — Schlitterbahn Waterparks and Resorts won four awards at the annual Wave Review Competition hosted by the World Waterpark Association during their symposium and trade show in Palm Springs, California. The competition was exclusively for the water leisure industry and gives world-wide recognition to the parks’ advertising and promotional items.
Schlitterbahn was nominated and won four categories this year for: Best Website, Best Brochure, Best Social Media Campaign, and Best Billboard. These promotional efforts were a part of the “HOLD ON TO EVERY MOMENT” campaign for the 2015 season which helped convey the “why” of Schlitterbahn, namely, making amazing family memories. Schlitterbahn’s campaign told a story that showed a family emotionally connected by their experience in the waterpark and resort.
This campaign was created and executed by the corporate marketing, communications, graphic design and social media teams at Schlitterbahn. The website was renovated and developed in 2014 in a partnership with Ascedia, a web design and development company, who helped design and improve the site’s performance and mobile experience.
