(PRESS RELEASE) STOCKHOLM, 2025-May-15 — /Travel PR News/ — SAS (Scandinavian Airlines) is set to expand its winter 2025/2026 traffic program with six exciting new destinations from its Copenhagen hub. Starting from October 2025, SAS will introduce new routes to Vienna, Tel Aviv, Marrakech, Madeira, Fuerteventura, and Kittilä. Along with these additions, SAS will increase frequencies on several existing routes, contributing to an overall seat capacity growth of 40%. The enhanced winter schedule also includes the continuation of 22 popular summer routes, resulting in a 75% improvement in overall connectivity. These updates aim to provide more flexibility and options for travelers, reinforcing Copenhagen’s position as a leading hub in Northern Europe.

“We’re thrilled to offer our customers new destinations and enhanced connectivity for the winter season,” said Henrik Winell, Vice President of Network at SAS. “With our expanded network and increased seat capacity, travel throughout Scandinavia will be greatly improved, offering more flexibility and options to reach preferred locations.”

The new routes will connect not only with SAS’ hubs in Stockholm and Oslo but also with cities like Gothenburg, Billund, Aarhus, Aalborg, Bergen, Stavanger, Tallinn, and Gdansk, further integrating the Nordic region with the broader European network.

New Routes for Winter 2025/2026:

Seoul, Korea, will also continue its new direct service with three weekly departures.
