SAS Enhances Collaboration with Delta Air Lines, Unveiling Expanded Trans-Atlantic Travel Choices

(IN SHORT) SAS has announced an expansion of its partnership with Delta Air Lines, effective April 2, 2025, enhancing travel options between Scandinavia and North America. This deepened SkyTeam codeshare agreement increases destination choices and flight frequencies, streamlining the travel process. Copenhagen Airport will offer 21 weekly flights to New York and 10 to Minneapolis in summer, while Arlanda Airport will add 20 weekly New York departures. SAS’s Chief Commercial Officer, Paul Verhagen, highlighted the move as a commitment to superior service and global connectivity. The deal also allows reciprocal earning and redemption of SAS EuroBonus points and Delta SkyMiles, benefiting frequent flyers of both carriers.

As of April 2, 2025, travelers will enjoy an enriched codeshare arrangement between SkyTeam allies SAS and Delta. This expanded partnership brings a wider selection of destinations and more frequent flights, ensuring a smoother and more efficient trip.
Copenhagen Airport, SAS’s international hub, will see a significant boost in U.S.-bound flight options, all bookable in one go. During the summer peak, this includes 21 weekly flights to New York and 10 to Minneapolis. Meanwhile, Stockholm’s Arlanda Airport will ramp up its New York service with an additional 20 weekly departures.
