Moscow, 2017-Apr-18 — /Travel PR News/ — Aeroflot has received a special SAP Expanding Horizons award for pioneering SAP’s internal audit management system in Russia. The award was presented today (13 April 2017) at the SAP Forum Moscow 2017.
Aeroflot has carried out 25% more audits since the new system was integrated. Automatisation of business processes in a single system has increased efficiency and transparency at Russia’s flagship carrier.
SAP Audit Management allows ongoing audits to be monitored in real time regardless of location and reports to be generated. It also ensures compliance with international standards as well as risk management and control policies.
“We are the first in Russia to integrate SAP Audit Management system in our work,” said Kirill Bogdanov, Aeroflot’s Deputy CEO for IT. “The new system has taken our internal audit to a completely new level, and makes it faster, more transparent and more efficient.”
“SAP Audit Management helps reduce the operating costs of auditing, and specifically helps state companies to meet the government’s requirement to reduce operating costs by 10% a year”, said Dmitry Krasyukov, Deputy CEO of SAP CIS. “This project is one of the first examples of integration of SAP Audit Management system in the world. SAP’s development team and the Aeroflot project team have done a lot of joint work to expand its functionality.”
By 2025 Aeroflot Group plans to increase its passenger traffic to 70 million passengers a year, including 30 million on the Russian market market. The Company expects that an efficient internal audit system will help it achieve this and other strategic goals.
