San Francisco International Airport (SFO) Press Inquiries regarding Asiana Airlines Flight 214 incident

SAN FRANCISCO, 2013-07-09 — /travelprnews.com/ — The San Francisco International Airport (SFO) has concluded all airport media briefings regarding Asiana Airlines Flight 214. The NTSB has officially assumed command of the investigation into Asiana Airlines Flight 214, and will conduct all further media briefings off-airport. The NTSB will announce additional briefings as they are scheduled. For further information, visit www.ntsb.gov.

SFO will not comment on any aspect of the NTSB investigation, but will comment on the status of the airport facilities, flight delays, and other customer information. Further information can be found at:

Parking for Media

All vehicles used in the live transmission of video and/or audio may park at the following locations:

  • Upper Level Roadway, between International Garage A and the International Terminal
  • Upper Level Roadway, between International Garage G and the International Terminal
  • Upper Level Roadway, between Terminals 1 and 2
  • Upper Level Roadway, between Terminals 2 and 3

It is requested that prior to arriving at the Airport, the Public Information Officer (650.821.4000) or Airport Duty Manager (650.821.5222) be notified as to the desired parking location and the length of stay.

All other media vehicles are requested to park in the Domestic Short Term Parking Garage or one of the International Short Term Parking Garages. The Public Information Officer or Airport Duty Manager will provide parking validation for all media working at San Francisco International Airport.

Due to unforeseen and rapidly changing security requirements, the ability to park at the above locations by the media may be withdrawn without notice.
