S7 Airlines becomes an official partner of the National Championship WorldSkills Russia 2016

Novosibirsk, Russia, 2016-May-26 — /Travel PR News/ — S7 Airlines, a member of the oneworld® global aviation alliance®, became an official partner of the National Championship WorldSkills Russia 2016, the championship final takes place in Moscow from 23 to 27 May.

WorldSkills is an international non-commercial movement aimed at enhancing the prestige of production workers’ professions and development of professional education.

WorldSkills Russia 2016 championship final is a major professional skill competition in Russia. Young production workers aged 18-22 and juniors aged 10-17 years take part in the championship. The championship serves as occupational guidance for young people, promotes implementation of the best international practice in the system of education, and helps young people to build a career.

In the current year 3000 people from 59 Russian regions participate in the WorldSkills Russia championship final. During the competitions best professionals of 99 specialties (competences) will be chosen. Each competition discipline is a real or perspective profession, which is in demand in Russia and in business and industrial sphere.

In the championship final S7 Airlines will reward best participants in several aviation categories:

  • Services on air transport;
  • Aviation equipment maintenance;
  • Aerospace engineering;
  • Manufacturing assembly of aviation equipment items;
  • Navigation of unmanned air vehicles;
  • Neuropiloting.

During the championship from 24 to 26 May S7 Airlines will hold interactive workshops at its exhibition stand. Specialists of the S7 Training centre and Engineering technical holding will share their professional secrets, and will tell everybody which professional skills are necessary to become a pilot, cabin crew member, and aircraft technician.
