Shannon, Ireland, 2013-12-17 — /travelprnews.com/ — Ryanair, Europe’s favourite low fares airline, today (17 Dec) made a €10,000 donation to the UK charity Anthony Nolan the latest in a series of charities to receive support from Ryanair’s “Fly to Win” scratchcards.
Ryanair’s Michael Cawley presented the €10,000 donation to Nicky Read, Head of Corporate Fundraising at Anthony Nolan which does so much to save the lives of people living with blood cancer and blood disorders. Every day, the organisation matches incredible individuals willing to donate their bone marrow to people who desperately need lifesaving transplants.
Ryanair’s scratchcards are very popular with passengers who can win prizes of cash, luxury cars, or scoop a cool €1 million – all for a stake of just €2, which funds numerous charity donations across Europe.
