Ryanair launches 20% OFF all flights from 1st December

Calls On UK Govt To Remove Any Travel Quarantines For Christmas

Dublin, Ireland, 2020-Nov-25 — /Travel PR News/ — Ryanair, Europe’s no. 1 airline, today (Tues, 24 Nov) announced its cracking festive flight deals as it gears up to fly millions of people home for Christmas across its entire network this December. Ryanair is offering 20% OFF all flights from 1st December, allowing customers to book their flights home to families, friends and loved ones.

The ‘test and release’ rule, which has just been announced by the Government, is progress but not enough to reopen the UK for the Christmas season. Ryanair calls on the British Govt to align with Europe and eliminate any quarantine for travellers with a negative Covid test 72 hrs prior to arrival in the UK.

To help passengers plan their Christmas travel, Ryanair has added to its website a list of test centres located beside Ryanair airports so passengers can book their test when booking their flights home.

Ryanair’s 20% OFF Christmas sale follows last week’s announcement that 21 additional flights from the UK have been added to the Christmas schedule to / from the likes of Belgium, Greece, Romania, Spain and Portugal.

A Ryanair spokesperson said:

“The ‘test & release’ system in the UK is a further step towards opening Britain for Christmas but falls short for the hundreds of thousands of British citizens flying home for the festive season. With Covid tests now widely available, the Govt should remove quarantine restrictions and allow citizens to move freely, once they have a negative Covid test 72 hrs prior to arrival.

To make things easier for our passengers, we have added to our website a list of test centres located close to Ryanair airports, allowing passengers to book their test when booking their flights home.

With our amazing 20% OFF seat sale and flights all across Europe, customers can book their return flights home this Christmas at fantastic prices. Since these amazing low fares will be snapped up quickly, customers should log onto Ryanair.com to avoid missing out.”
