Restaurant 5 of Discovery Suites Philippines to commemorate International Friendship Day

Philippines, 2013-07-10 — /travelprnews.com/ — July 30 is International Friendship Day. The event is an idea of the World Friendship Crusade which is a foundation that promotes friendship and fellowship among all human beings, regardless of race, colour or religion.

To commemorate this world-wide event, Restaurant 5 of Discovery Suites features an eclectic lunch spread featuring tasty appetizers such as assorted Sushi, Jellyfish with toasted sesame seeds, Ensaladang Mangga at Kamatis, Kimchi, Garlic Spinach, and Kani Salad. Featured soup is the Filipino favourite, Tinolang Manok. The carving stations spotlights Char Siu Pork, Lechon Kawali, and Crispy Pata. Live stations offer Dimsum like Siomai, Hakaw and Siopao, Char Kway Teo, Korean BBQ, Hainanese Chicken Rice, Fish & Shrimp Tempura. In the Hot Buffet spread are Beef Rendang, Pork Adobo, Chicken Teriyaki, Fish Curry, Crab Foo Young, Green Beans and Pumpkin in Coconut Sauce, and Yakimeshi Fried Rice. The assortment of desserts are Tropical Fresh Fruits, Buchi, Almond Lychee, Suman sa Ibos, Bibingka, Halo-Halo, and Maja Blanca.

The International Friendship Day buffet happens at Discovery Suites’ Restaurant 5 only on July 30 and priced at P995 nett. Restaurant 5 is located on the 5th floor of Discovery Suites. Lunch service is from 12:00 p.m. — 2:30 p.m.
