A notable addition is the signing of Radisson RED Bucharest Old Town, marking the brand’s debut in Romania. The project involves the transformation of a 1940s office building, once home to the Institute of Hydroelectric Studies. The building will be completely renovated, converting it into a 104-room hotel in the vibrant Old Town of Bucharest. Scheduled to open in 2027, this will be the first Radisson RED property in the country and the Group’s fourth hotel in the city. The hotel will feature a restaurant, bar, a co-working lounge in the lobby, and a multipurpose meeting space that can host events, product launches, and social functions. In addition to this, Radisson Hotel Group will also unveil the Radisson Blu Grand Mountain Resort in Brasov by early 2027.
