Special event with Schweiger Vineyards highlights love story of family and place

2012-08-31 — /travelprnews.com/ — Quattro and Schweiger Vineyards and Winery will celebrate the spirit of family and community at a special dinner on Saturday, October 13, 2012. Throughout the evening, guests will enjoy free flowing conversation with Executive Chef Marco Fossati, Quattro General Manager Adam Ashukian and Schweiger’s Andrew Schweiger and Diana Schweiger Isdahl. In keeping with a communal theme, the five-course dinner with wine pairings will be served family style, while Schweiger’s Winemaker Andrew Schweiger informally visits with guests to share tasting notes and family history.

Chef Marco comments, “One of the greatest love stories of all time is that of food and wine. I am excited to create a special evening with such a vivacious and passionate family.”

Schweiger is truly a family operation. Andrew’s father Fred, vineyard and winery founder, is still active on the vineyard property. His wife Sally runs the office while daughter Diana serves as sales director and son Andrew is the winemaker.
