Bombardier Global 5000 On Static Display At Al Bateen Executive Airport
Doha, QATAR, 2014-2-20 — /travelprnews.com/ — Qatar Executive, the business jet charter division of award-winning Qatar Airways, will be exhibiting at Abu Dhabi Air Expo, which is set to take place from 25 to 27 February at the Al Bateen Executive Airport.
Demonstrating its commitment to the vibrant Middle East business aviation market, Qatar Executive will be showcasing its Bombardier Global 5000 on the static display, giving visitors the opportunity to see the luxurious interiors of its sought-after jet, which features one of the widest and most spacious cabins among super-large business jets available in the sky.
Qatar Airways Chief Executive Officer Akbar Al Baker, who also heads up the airline’s business jet division, commented: “For the Middle East’s travelling elite, who want to travel in the utmost comfort and in the shortest amount of time to long-distance destinations, our Global 5000 is the business jet of choice.”
He added: “Knowing that the business aviation sector in the Middle East is continuing to show strong demand for private jet travel, the Abu Dhabi Air Expo is a great opportunity to present Qatar Executive’s top-end service for individual and flexible air travel to our clients in the region.”
With its presence at the event, Qatar Executive strengthens its position as a world-class leader for ad-hoc charters with one of the youngest private jet fleets available in the Middle East region. Just three months ago Qatar Airways’ corporate jet arm, expanded its operation by adding a brand-new Bombardier Global 5000 Vision to its state-of-the-art fleet.
With its unsurpassed performance, latest entertainment and communications system, including iPods at every seat to control mood lighting, temperature and the exceptional sound system, as well as the fastest airborne Internet available, the aircraft has become extremely popular among high-end business and leisure travellers alike.
Qatar Executive’s Executive Vice President Dave Edwards highlighted: “We have been extremely pleased with the positive response we’ve received from our customers towards our new Global 5000 Vision and are confident that the Abu Dhabi Air Expo will further boost the demand for our product as well as for all the additional business aviation-related services we offer from our Doha base, including maintenance and airline charters.”
The Bombardier Global 5000 on static display is part of Qatar Executive’s wholly-owned Bombardier fleet of seven long-range business jets. With its capacity for 13 passengers, it can easily fly from Abu Dhabi to Singapore or from Abu Dhabi to London non-stop.
Another benefit the Global 5000 holds in store for long flights is the low cabin pressure, even at the maximum cruising altitude of 49,000 feet, which creates a comfortable cabin environment for the passengers. In addition, the aircraft’s spacious baggage compartment, accessible from the cabin, offers plenty of room for all personal belongings.
Customers flying on board Qatar Executive’s fleet can enjoy not just personalised service and a virtually unlimited range of on board amenities, but also the hassle-free experience of not having to queue at airports and long waiting times between connecting flights, as they decide where they want to fly, at the time of their choice.
Apart from three Global 5000s, Qatar Executive also operates three Challenger 605s and a Global XRS.
The à la carte service for passengers includes the convenience of booking an aircraft in as little as four hours before departure, access to premium airport lounges, and check-in 10 minutes prior to take off.
