TORONTO, 2012-10-9 — /travelprnews.com/ — Porter Airlines is suiting up for the ski season with another year of winter service to Mont Tremblant, beginning Dec. 7 until April 7. Non-stop flights are available from both Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport and Newark Liberty International Airport.
An improved winter schedule starts a full week earlier than last year and includes up to 13 weekly frequencies during peak season from Jan. 30 to Mar. 31.
“Porter passengers look forward to our annual Mont Tremblant service,” said Robert Deluce, president and CEO of Porter Airlines. “Our new schedule has more flights than ever with times that allow for full weekend getaways or extended stays.”
This is the second year of direct Porter service from Newark to Mont Tremblant. The only non-stop flights connecting Greater New York to Eastern Canada’s premier skiing destination begin Dec. 20.
The Newark route starts with one weekly roundtrip departing on Thursdays. A second option will be added from Feb. 14 through Mar. 18. Convenient evening return flights on Sunday allow for a full day on the slopes, and a plenty of time for “après ski” relaxing.
