Photos from “Colors and Traditions” photography competition now on display at TAV Gallery at Istanbul Atatürk Airport

The culture and art platform TAV Gallery at Istanbul Atatürk Airport presents the photos of travelers from different parts of the world. The exhibition is composed of impressive shots awarded at “Colors and Traditions” photography competition organized by TAV Airports with the collaboration of independent travel communication platform, Gezimanya.com.

Istanbul, 2014-6-16 — /Travel PR News/ — Organized by TAV Airports with the collaboration of Gezimanya.com, the exhibition, which consists of shots chosen from “Colors and Traditions” photography competition, is started to be displayed at TAV Gallery. Many photographs from different parts of the world taken by travel enthusiasts were gathered in the competition held in May. The best 70 shots selected by a jury amongst more than 400 photographs are presented to the passengers at the culture and art platform TAV Gallery at Atatürk Airport.

TAV Istanbul General Manager Kemal Ünlü stated “Colors and Traditions competition, which is a common project of TAV Airports and Gezimanya.com, one of the most popular travel communication platforms, attracted great interest from travelers. Travel enthusiasts shared the photos they have taken at various parts of the world and a jury consisting of three specialists selected the best photos. We are very pleased with the interest of the passengers of Atatürk Airport to the exhibition showcased at TAV Gallery. I believe these photographs will offer the passengers a pastime prior to their flight and will provide an opportunity to see very different and exciting parts of the world from the perspectives of travelers.”

Gezimanya.com was founded to establish a Turkish travel platform in 2011. Colors and Traditions exhibition showcases the impressive shots from various locations from Russia, Myanmar, and Nepal to Faroe Islands. Whilst the awards were presented to the top three travelers at the end of the competition held online at Gezimanya.com, the top 70 photos will be displayed at TAV Gallery at Atatürk Airport till the end of June. The exhibition will then be displayed at TAV Gallery Ankara in July for the passengers of Esenboğa Airport.
