Norwegian launches intercontinental flights
2012-11-15 — /travelprnews.com/ — Ticket sales for Norwegian’s first-ever intercontinental routes, to New York and Bangkok, opened on 8 November.
The first flight to New York will depart on 30 May 2013, while the service to Bangkok starts on 1 June 2013. Norwegian will take delivery of its first 787 Dreamliners for use on intercontinental routes in spring 2013.
In the period 30 May to 24 June, Norwegian will have two flights weekly to New York (JFK) from Oslo Airport. From 25 June, this will increase to three weekly flights.
Norwegian will fly to Bangkok twice weekly from 1 June to 23 June, and then increase the number of weekly flights to three from 24 June.
