Next-Gen Tech Powers AEGEAN’s Leap Toward Personalized, Digital Air Travel

The agreement includes advanced tools such as Amadeus Digital Commerce and Anytime Merchandising for personalized and real-time sales strategies, along with Outpayce’s Pay-by-Link and Xchange Payment Platform for streamlined and secure payment experiences. These technologies will help AEGEAN deliver more tailored, seamless customer journeys and better manage its digital operations as it continues to lead innovation in the regional airline industry.
(PRESS RELEASE) MADRID, 2025-Apr-24 — /Travel PR News/ — AEGEAN, Greece’s national airline, is strengthening its partnership with travel technology leader Amadeus through a long-term IT agreement that will see the carrier embrace a suite of next-generation retailing solutions aimed at enhancing the customer journey and boosting revenue.
Under this expanded collaboration, AEGEAN will now deploy a host of cutting-edge digital tools, including Amadeus Digital Commerce, a data-driven platform that enables the airline to respond dynamically to traveler behavior. Through this solution, customers can create personalized booking experiences and even revisit and complete their saved flight offers for up to three months.
The airline will also leverage Amadeus Anytime Merchandising, a centralized interface allowing AEGEAN to seamlessly define, monitor, and refine its merchandising strategy in real time. This adaptability is key to delivering consistent, tailored content across sales channels, all while optimizing the airline’s commercial reach.

In the area of payments, AEGEAN will also integrate Outpayce Pay-by-Link, which streamlines transactions by letting passengers pay securely via a simple link sent through SMS, email, or QR code. Additionally, Outpayce’s Xchange Payment Platform will serve as a single hub for managing AEGEAN’s full payment ecosystem, enhancing visibility, efficiency, and flexibility.
