New Technology Partnership Helps flydubai Connect Passenger Data Across the Journey

(NEWS) DUBAI, 2026-Jan-12 — /Travel PR News/ — flydubai has taken a further step in its digital transformation journey through a new partnership with Amperity, aimed at unifying customer data and delivering more personalised travel experiences across the airline’s network. The collaboration reflects flydubai’s broader strategy of investing in innovation to enhance how passengers engage with the airline before, during and after their journeys.

At the centre of the partnership is Amperity’s customer data cloud, which will allow flydubai to connect traveller insights in real time across multiple systems. According to details shared in the airline’s official announcement, the platform will help create a unified view of customers by bringing together data from bookings, communications, airport services, in-flight interactions and customer service touchpoints, even when travellers book without loyalty numbers or consistent identifiers.

Airline customer data is often fragmented across internal systems and third-party channels, making it difficult to form a complete picture of individual preferences. Amperity’s AI-driven identity resolution and airline-specific data model are designed to address that complexity, enabling flydubai to link passenger information accurately and at scale. This unified data foundation will support the airline’s roadmap toward Modern Airline Retailing and its transition to an offer-order-based ecosystem.

The partnership is expected to help flydubai better understand passenger behaviour and preferences, allowing teams across marketing, eCommerce, customer experience and operations to deliver more relevant offers and communications. As outlined in the press release, the airline will use Amperity’s Identity Keychain and Profile API to retrieve customer data instantly, supporting both personalised engagement and operational efficiency at key moments of the travel journey.

flydubai has emphasised that all passenger data will continue to be managed in line with international security standards and the Dubai Electronic Security Centre’s Information Security Regulation framework. The airline has carried more than 120 million passengers since launching operations in 2009 and currently serves a network of over 135 destinations across 58 countries with a fleet of 97 Boeing 737 aircraft.

From Amperity’s perspective, the collaboration highlights the growing need for data platforms capable of handling the speed and diversity of modern airline operations. Based on official statements from both companies, the partnership positions flydubai among a new generation of carriers using data and AI to reshape customer-centric travel, as digital-led experiences increasingly become a defining factor in airline competitiveness.
