The brand is committed to making a meaningful impact on women’s lives, supporting hotel guests, employees (internally known as Heartists), and community members. MGallery’s year-round efforts to amplify female voices are now taking center stage through partnerships with local NGOs and various events during Pink October.

Exciting Initiatives Across MGallery Hotels

In an effort to enhance awareness, MGallery hotels will implement a range of exciting Pink October activations:

  • Internal Competitions and Awareness Events: A series of competitions will take place, including events designed to educate individuals globally about the early signs and symptoms of breast cancer. MGallery Heartists will participate in a distance-running challenge, with the hotel whose Heartists cover the most kilometers receiving a donation in euros for the Gustave Roussy cancer center. Guests can also contribute by making a €2 donation per night to a designated local breast cancer awareness organization.
  • Educational QR Codes: Guests will find QR code stickers in their bathrooms, granting access to exclusive video podcasts that share valuable insights on breast cancer prevention, self-examination tips, and early detection techniques.
  • Illuminated Pink Facades: A selection of uniquely designed hotels will illuminate their exteriors in vibrant pink, joining iconic landmarks like the Eiffel Tower and the Empire State Building in support of breast cancer awareness. Staff members will greet guests wearing pink ribbons and offer a signature Pink October welcome drink.

Artistic Collaboration and Unique Merchandise

In addition to these initiatives, MGallery Collection is partnering with French artist Djhor, who has created a limited-edition Pink Icon illustration for the hotels. This eye-catching design symbolizes care and health, and will be available for purchase at MGallery hotels and online.

Luxury Sleepwear for a Cause

Continuing its commitment to social enterprise, MGallery has reintroduced its collaboration with Pour Les Femmes, a brand founded by actress Robin Wright. Specially crafted luxury sleepwear will be available in hotels and online, with all proceeds from sales supporting the Gustave Roussy cancer treatment center when purchased online, or local NGOs when bought in hotels.

Various MGallery hotels will host unique events throughout the month:

  • Costanero Hotel Montevideo will showcase a Pink October banner and illuminate its facade in vibrant pink, while offering Pink Tea from 4 PM to 7 PM, with proceeds going to the Clarita Berenbau Foundation.
  • Gem Forest Hotel Nairobi will celebrate influential local women with a pyjama party hosted by public figure Pinky Ghelani, featuring a charity auction streamed globally for the Faraja Cancer Trust. The hotel will culminate Pink October with the Pink RiiSE event, where attendees don bright pink attire to raise funds for breast cancer care.
  • VIE Hotel Bangkok is set to host exclusive Michelin-star dinners and silent auctions on October 10, with all proceeds benefiting the Queen Sirikit Centre for Breast Cancer Foundation, alongside live performances from renowned musicians.
  • Le Domaine de la Reine Margot Paris Issy will partner with the Skin Association to provide psychological support for women in remission from cancer, including free wellness activities for cancer patients.
  • The William Inglis Hotel Warwick Farm will host a Pink October luncheon featuring guest speakers like champion jockey Michelle Payne, sharing inspiring stories during a crafted lunch experience.
  • INK Hotel Amsterdam will collaborate with Mammarosa, a charity focused on providing cultural support to women facing breast cancer, ensuring proper information is shared throughout the hotel. The hotel will also contribute to Mammarosa with sales from Pink October products.
