Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority appoints Mamie Mallory and Timothy Poole to its Board of Directors

Washington DC, USA, 2021-Oct-24 — /Travel PR News/ — The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority announced today (October 20, 2021) the appointment of Mamie Mallory and Timothy Poole to its Board of Directors. Both are appointees of the governor of Maryland.

Mallory is widely recognized for her distinguished career at the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), prior to founding Mallory & Associates, LLC in May 2018. Her time at the FAA included more than 20 years in executive positions focusing on diversity programs and civil rights. The former assistant administrator for civil rights for the FAA, she was the principal advisor to the administrator on civil rights, equal employment opportunity, diversity and affirmative action. She also managed the agency’s efforts to ensure the elimination of unlawful discrimination in federally operated and assisted FAA transportation programs at airports.

She received her Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering from North Carolina State University and her Master of Science degree in engineering management from The George Washington University.

Poole brings more than 20 years experience in multiple technical operations related fields covering the private sector and federal government. He serves as president of Cyber Technology Services, Inc., which provides cybersecurity and intelligence community services to the federal government, and also serves as president of GT Aviation, responsible for all strategic aspects of flight school operations. He began his career at the Department of Defense Computer Forensics Laboratory, supporting the Air Force Office of Special Investigations in several different roles. Subsequent positions included supporting the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration and other U.S. government intelligence agencies.

An FAA-certified pilot and mechanic, he received his Bachelor of Science degree in computer information systems from Strayer University and his Master of Science degree in cybersecurity and information assurance from Western Governors University.
