Metrolink passengers traveling to LAX no longer need to purchase a separate ticket to ride the LAX FlyAway® bus

Connection to FlyAway® bus has become even easier

LOS ANGELES, 2013-04-23 — /travelprnews.com/ — Metrolink passengers traveling to Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) no longer need to purchase a separate ticket to ride the LAX FlyAway® bus starting today. Metrolink, in partnership with the Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA), has developed the option of adding the $7 one-way LAX FlyAway® trip to the cost of a Metrolink ticket.

Passengers simply need to go to any Metrolink Ticket Vending Machine and select LAX as their final destination when purchasing a ticket. Individuals can then take the train to L.A. Union Station and board the LAX FlyAway®. The buses run seven days a week and depart every 30 minutes during peak hours.

The added ticket feature applies to the following Metrolink tickets: One-Way Tickets, Round-Trip Tickets and Advance Purchase Tickets. You can buy One-Way or Round-Trip Advance Purchase Tickets for a future date, up to one year in advance.

Metrolink Monthly Pass holders can ride the LAX FlyAway® shuttle at no additional charge with a valid flight boarding pass.
