Metrolink Orange County Line and Inland Empire-Orange County Line trains will only operate to and from San Juan Capistrano on Oct. 17 and 18

LOS ANGELES, 2015-10-15 — /Travel PR News/ — Due to scheduled track work on Oct. 17 and 18, Metrolink Orange County Line and Inland Empire-Orange County Line trains will only operate to and from San Juan Capistrano. There will be no bus service or alternate transportation provided.

The first two weekends of October (Oct. 3-4 and Oct. 10-11), there will be no Amtrak or Coaster service south of Oceanside. On Oct. 17 and 18, there will be no Amtrak service south of Irvine, but Amtrak will provide bus service for Amtrak passengers only between Irvine and San Diego.

During the service disruption, the San Diego Association of Governments (SANDAG) will perform work on the Los Peñasquitos Lagoon Bridges, the Bridge 243 Scour Repair project and the Elvira to Morena Double Track project.
