LONDON, 2015-7-13 — /Travel PR News/ — Mazagan Beach & Golf Resort in El Jadida, Morocco, has been unveiled as host of the World Travel Awards Grand Final Gala Ceremony 2015.
Hundreds of industry leaders will gather in the world-leading destination on December 12th, 2015, as World Travel Awards presents its coveted global titles.
Tourism operators in Morocco are expected to enjoy a boost in their global exposure given the attention World Travel Awards commands.
The announcement was made by World Travel Awards president Graham Cooke, Moroccan minister of tourism, His Excellency Dr. Lahcen Haddad, Mazagan Beach & Golf Resort president Stephan Killinger and Mohammed Arkobi, chairman of Innovate Marketing Solutions, during a press conference earlier.
Speaking at the event World Travel Awards president Graham Cooke said: “This is a momentous day for World Travel Awards and for the Moroccan tourism industry. Morocco is the ideal destination for World Travel Awards; growing rapidly to become the leading tourism destination in the region.
“There is so much to offer, from the beaches of Agadir, to the splendour of the Atlas Mountains and the cosmopolitan chic of downtown Rabat. Leader among them all is Mazagan Beach & Golf Resort where we will be delighted to stage our Grand Final in December this year.”
The five-star Mazagan Beach & Golf Resort is located in El Jadida.
Home to an industry leading spa, the largest casino in Morocco, a host of delicious restaurants, a vast range of luxury accommodation and one of the best golf courses in the region, it is the perfect location for the World Travel Awards Grand Final Gala Ceremony.
The World Travel Awards Grand Final 2015 will follow a series of regional Gala Ceremonies, with events this year scheduled for Forte Village (Sardinia, Italy), Bogotá (Colombia), Raffles Hotel (Singapore), and Beaches Turks & Caicos in the Caribbean.
The Grand Tour 2015 kicked off with the Middle East ceremony at Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeriah Beach in May, with Seychelles welcoming the Africa & Indian Ocean Gala Ceremony earlier this month.
World Travel Awards was established in 1993 to acknowledge, reward and celebrate excellence across all sectors of the tourism industry.
