Marco Polo Hotels names Mr. Philippe Caretti as Vice President Operations

Hong Kong, 2014-9-22 — /Travel PR News/ — Marco Polo Hotels has appointed Mr. Philippe Caretti as Vice President, Operations.  Previously holding the position as Senior Vice President, Operations – China of Kempinski Hotels for the past 6 years where he oversaw 19 properties and 7 projects, Mr. Caretti brings with him 22 years of experience working in Asia.  Prior to Kempinski, he held senior managerial positions with reputable organisations such as Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group and Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts.

Mr. Caretti will continue to oversee all aspects of the operations and business performance for all 14 Marco Polo hotels.  His strong interpersonal and hotel organisation skills, coupled with his ability to successfully tackle new challenges through cross-cultural environments, will enhance the quality and financial performance of all properties as the company’s portfolio continues to grow and flourish in Hong Kong, China and the Philippines.
